Timothy Nayoumealook
1943–
Timothy Nayoumealook (1943– ) is a sculptor from Inukjuak (Port Harrison), Nunavik, Quebec. The subjects of his carvings are typically animals and hunters depicted in moments of daily life. Timothy’s sister Alice Nayoumealook is also a carver in Inukjuak.
Timothy’s work has been exhibited both in Canada and internationally. His carvings are held in the permanent collection at the Art Gallery of Alberta, Edmonton, the Musée de la civilisation, Montreal, and the Winnipeg Art Gallery, among others.
