Sima Tuki

Sima Tuki (1911–1967) was a sculptor from Inukjuak (Port Harrison), Nunavik, Quebec. Their stone sculptures depict arctic wildlife and traditional Inuit hunting scenes, often using bone to add additional details.
Sima’s carvings have been exhibited in Canada and the United States. Their work can be found in the permanent collections at the Canadian Museum of History, Gatineau, the Art Gallery of Windsor, the Whyte Museum of the Canadian Rockies, Banff, and the Dennos Museum Center, Northwestern Michigan College, Traverse City, among others.
