Peter MacCallum

1947–

Peter MacCallum (1947– ) is a Canadian documentary photographer who was born, and currently still works out of Toronto. He is interested in capturing architecture, industry, and urban sites that examine the particularities of the vernacular spaces of human labour, commerce, and habitation.

MacCallum’s photographs have featured in various institutions, notably Diaz Contemporary, Toronto; Museum London, Ontario; National Gallery of Canada, Ottawa; Museum of Contemporary Canadian Art, Toronto.

His works have also included in the collections of the Canadian Museum of Contemporary Photography, Oakville Galleries, Art Gallery of Mississauga, City of Toronto Archives, Municipality of Metropolitan Toronto, Henry Morgenthaler Toronto Clinic, and other corporate and private collections.
