Noah Tuki

1925–1990

Noah Tuki (1925–1990) was an Inuit artist from Inukjuak (Port Harrison) northern Québec. His stone sculptures depict arctic wildlife and traditional hunting scenes.

Selected exhibitions include Eskimo Sculpture, facilitated by the Winnipeg Art Gallery and presented at the Manitoba Legislature Building; The Art of the Eskimo at Newman Galleries; and Inuit Art Exhibition by Whitby Arts Incorporated at Station Gallery. His work can be found in the public collections of the Mendel Art Gallery, Saskatoon; the Museum of Anthropology, UBC; the Canadian Museum of Civilization, Hull; and the Ministère des affaires culturelles du Québec, Québec City.
