Levi (attributed to)

Levi (1931– ), also known as Levi Admilak, is an Inuit sculptor and carver from Inukjuak (Port Harrison), Nunavik, Quebec. He is the son of Admilak, a known carver.
Levi’s sculptures have been featured in a number of exhibitions in Canada and Germany, including In the Shadow of the Sun: Contemporary Indian and Inuit Art in Canada at the Canadian Museum of History on view from 1988 to 1989. His work is also held in many public and private collections, including at the Canadian Museum of History, Gatineau, the National Gallery of Canada, Ottawa, the Musée des beaux-arts de Montreal, the Toronto Dominion Bank Collection, and the Winnipeg Art Gallery, among others.
